Dr. JAMILLE NIEWIARA PT, DPT, WCS (over 6500 clinic hours in pelvic floor therapy) is originally from Chicago and received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in April 2016. She moved to Austin, Texas where she worked as a physical therapist at Sullivan Physical Therapy (SPT) for over 4 years, treating exclusively pelvic floor diagnoses. Jamille demonstrates a passion for educating practitioners and patients about pelvic floor conditions and how pelvic floor physical therapy can act as a conservative management for these conditions. During her time at SPT, she enjoyed her role as a clinical instructor and as a mentor for aspiring pelvic floor PTs. She became a co-host of a pelvic floor podcast titled PT Below the Waist, owned by SPT. Each episode featured a pelvic floor diagnosis or an interview with an esteemed medical professional in the pelvic field. Jamille is also an instructor for Alcove Education and co-developed the “Diving into the Pelvic Floor” course, a comprehensive introductory course for novice practitioners interested in pelvic floor physical therapy. Jamille earned her WCS through the American Board of Physical Therapist Specialities in 2019 and currently resides in Chicago to spend more time with family.
