By the end of this lecture the participant will be able to:
- Describe the physiology of female sexual response
- List at least 4 female sexual pain diagnoses and understand why they are associated with female sexual dysfunction
- Differentiate key subjective reports related to at least 4 female sexual pain diagnoses
- Correlate specific objective findings with patient history in order to improve development of patient plan of care.
- Apply at least 5 treatment strategies for each diagnosis
- Identify at least 4 members of a multidisciplinary team to treat female sexual pain disorders
- Develop skills for manual assessment and treatment
- Implement a program for female sexual pain disorders
