Course description: Share case studies that will compel you the learn more about how Internal Electrical Stimulation can be used as a powerful tool to heal your most severe patients.

 

Objectives

1. Learn advanced clinical reasoning skills, through specific case studies, in order to determine the correct cause of the severe pelvic floor dysfunctions in these cancer, prolapse, lipodema, and vaginoplasty patients.

2. Learn new effective approaches to treat complex pelvic cancer, prolapse, lipodema and transexual patients using a multimodal approach with emphasis on Internal Electrical Stimulation using the Makous Protocol.

 

Course instructor:

Elizabeth has been a Pelvic Health PT for over 28 years. She is currently Coordinator of a large Pelvic Health and Lymphedema Program at Henry Mayo Hospital (Valencia, CA). Her career has been focused on serving patients with very complicated bladder, bowel and sexual dysfunctions. Along with the Pelvic Health specialty she has two certifications in edema and lymphedema management. Merging these specialties enhances treatment effectiveness and facilitates healing in patients with complicated issues such as bowel resection and brachytherapy in cancer patients.
