2. Explain the differences between the influence of negative emotions versus the positive emotions on hormones to optimize a positive birth experience.
3. Collaborate with the client in creating their unique birth preferences.
4. Guide the client in physical practices to maintain the shift from fear to calm and confidence.
Chantal Traub is a certified health coach, doula, childbirth educator, yoga instructor specialized in pre/postnatal yoga and MUTU® Systems trainer and has been assisting expecting families in New York since 2003. She is passionate about educating and informing pregnant people about pelvic health during pregnancy and to train the body and mind for an efficient and positive birth experience. Chantal created her Pushing Power, Protect the Perineum for Birth! and Birthing Strong workshops, which educate about 2nd Stage Labor and the pelvic floor, to push safely and effectively and to minimize damage. Chantal lives in Brooklyn with her husband and 2 children and you can find them hiking upstate or swimming in lakes during the summer.
