Dr. Linda Bluestein "Hypermobility and the Pelvic Floor"

After purchasing the event you will receive a link in your email for direct access.

Hypermobility, greater than expected range of motion, contributes to pain and other symptoms and is frequently missed by healthcare professionals. Like any other connective tissue, the pelvic floor can be greatly impacted by Hypermobility and associated conditions.

Objectives:

1. The participant will be able to identify hypermobility the role it plays in pelvic floor.

2. The participant will be able to have a better understanding of disorders that can be associated with hypermobolity.

Dr. Linda Bluestein has been practicing medicine for over 20 years and has helped countless people just like you restore function and improve their quality of life. Her special interest in treating performing artists (who are at increased risk of hypermobility disorders) stems from her many years as a ballet dancer and shattered dreams of turning professional due to her own EDS.

An integrative medicine physician with certification in Performing Arts Medicine, Dr. Bluestein takes a unique approach to the evaluation and treatment of this highly specialized population.

Regardless of how your hypermobility impacts you, from asymptomatic to polysymptomatic due to Ehlers-Danlos syndromes, hypermobility spectrum disorders, or another painful condition, Dr. Bluestein can help!

Working with Dr. Bluestein enables you to have less pain and be more accurately diagnosed whether or not you are a performing artist.

Dr. Bluestein is an international speaker on the forefront of research on pain, hypermobility and dance medicine. Professional services include individual telemedicine visits as well as workshops and lectures for groups. Dr. Bluestein received her Doctor of Medicine from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine followed by the completion of an anesthesiology residency at the Mayo Graduate School of Medicine. She is board-certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.
