2. Rehabilitation strategies and guidelines for Return to Run Postpartum
Returning to run in the post partum state varies based on the individual presentation of the patient. New guidelines provide evidence on how to safely assist a patient in returning to the high impact activity of running. This course will also go over the evidence surrounding gait changes after pregnancy and factors such as footwear. Post-partum women require special considerations from their feet to their cervical spine, this course will discuss these considerations.

3. Rehabilitation and Gait strategies for Pelvic Floor Dysfunction in Runners
Running gait differs significantly from walking gait in its kinematic and kinetic requirements. The pelvic floor plays a crucial role in support of the pelvic organs during the high impact of running. Many patients present to pelvic rehabilitation practitioners with common pelvic floor impairments that are exacerbated or only present while running. This course will introduce running gait and provide screening tools for pelvic physical therapists.

4. Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation Strategies for Common Proximal Orthopedic Running Injuries
Many orthopedic running injuries have impact on pelvic floor muscle functioning. Subsequently many runners with proximal injuries to the hip, pelvis, lumbar spine, and knee have underlying pelvic floor impairments that warrant referral to a pelvic PT. This course will discuss these common proximal orthopedic running injuries and the evidence surrounding pelvic floor involvement.
